How to forward your Univerge phone

How to forward your univerge phone.

Please read the whole document then review sample page.

1. open Univerge

2. Click on the profile icon at the bottom left then call settings

3. Click on edit for call forwarding



4. Press create profile at the top right

5. Create a profile name (EX: Forward to Bob)

6. Scroll down to forwarding Type.

7. Click add sequential destination



  • Press “Select Destination” and choose one of these options:
    • Phone Number: If you’re NOT forwarding to another Univerge user’s number.
    • User: If you ARE forwarding to another Univerge user’s number. (type in the user’s name to bring them up)
    • My Device: If you want the phone to ring yourself first, then forward it to another device. (Just add another sequential number that you want to forward to after creating this one)

  • “Add Ring All Destinations” VS “Add Sequential Destinations”
    • Ring All Destinations: Everything under “Ring All Destinations” will ring at the same time when your phone number is called.
    • Sequential Destinations: Everything under “Sequential Destinations” will ring in the order you set them up.
    • You can use both “Ring All Destinations” and “Sequential Destinations” together.

8. Once you have your forwarding locations selected adjust the ring for times as needed. This will determine how long each phone will ring for, as a group or in sequential order.
9. Go to the next section and select an endpoint. The recommended default is Hang up after Busy or Voicemail. This makes the Phone hang up if no one answers during the ring times.
10. Press create profile
11. Under call forwarding you may now toggle the profile on or off as needed.

  • 1, 2 and 3 pictured below represent the sequential order that the phones will ring in.
  • Since they are grouped together AEL front desk and the phone number (999) 867-5309 will ring at the same time for 30 seconds. Then it will carry over to  (111) 222-3333 for 15 seconds and then finally LR12103 Trailer Shop for 10 seconds. If none of them answer, then it will go to what you selected for your endpoint. In this case that would be hang up after busy.
